Why is this course for you?

Well, let me start off by saying that the feeling of wanting to start something good for yourself is real...but so is the frustration of not knowing how.

Over the years, I've searched high and low for resources on practical ways to think in everyday

situations.

No knocks on motivation. I love it, and it's a very important part of my life. But I often found myself at a loss with shifting my mindset with basic things like getting irritated that everyone is in my way at the grocery store. Or back in my corporate days, dreading any interaction with a coworker for reasons they didn't even know got under my skin.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to be great.

But life, true purpose and success must be built on unwavering factors that can be applied to every facet of your existence. Life is subjective. So in order to really understand what it is that is going to give you the tools to be proactive in life, you must be able to identify where you are now.

My name is Kim Strickland,

I'm the creator of this course and the

founder of Thoughts2Power.

People oftentimes ask me how I came up with this concept. The truth is, I lived it before I even knew it was a system. The past several years of my life carried so many different chapters that were completely spontaneous and many times, completely out of my control. What I decided to do differently was to be proactive rather than reactive on a day-to-day basis. Two layoffs, a called off engagement after a ten year relationship, gaining 75 pounds, losing friends, drinking alone to cope with life, moving to a new state with nothing but my last name and my Camry...so many random things happened to me pretty much back to back within under two years. All out of my control.

After being blindsided by my first layoff as one of the top-performing employees with the company, I stepped back and realized that life will give you people to lean on, but you're never going to be a bigger priority to them than they are to themselves. And I finally accepted that.

That's where the shift began.

There was lots of trial and error. But through these practical exercises that I repeated over and over until they became a way of life, I figured out what unconditionally worked. I ditched the 75 pounds, run a brick and mortar gym in the same city I moved to with a box of clothes, I have the opportunity daily to inspire my clients, and this has all just begun.
